Our expeditions enable people of all ages and from all over the world to undertake a unique blend of mental and physical challenges on a 4 to 10 week expedition. You'll be working and living in remote destinations, contributing to worthwhile and sustainable projects, equipping yourself with key life skills and making friends and memories that will last with you forever.

A Raleigh International 10 week expedition is unique in giving venturers the opportunity to work on three different phases - sustainable community and environmental projects plus an adventure phase. If you are short of time our 5 week expedition combines your choice of either a community or environmental project with a team-based adventure challenge.
If you are aged 25+ and looking to take some time out during your career, family life or retirement then join us as a volunteer manager either responsible for a team of venturers on the project site or at field base (the headquarters of the host country).There is a variety of roles available which support the smooth running of the expedition.
The volunteer management team must join the full 10 or 5 week expedition and in addition undertake 2-3 weeks of pre-expedition training in-country and post-expedition review.
Destinations include Costa Rica and Nicaragua , India , and Malaysia and we run between 10 and 12 expeditions a year.
