Hello alumni!

Who are we? Well, like our support group cousins around the country, Raleigh London is first and foremost a social network of like minded people who have all experienced something quite special and unique, who meet up on a monthly basis. Following in the footsteps of previous Raleigh London generations, our aspiration is to organise Raleigh-style 'fourth challenge' activities throughout the year and to support those who are curious about going on, or are in fact preparing, for expedition - like all alumni, we're full of genius fund raising and kit tips!

So what do we do? Raleigh style activities in the past have included working on Hampstead Heath with the park rangers; painting nurseries; volunteering for Crisis Open Christmas and going on walking jaunts in Windsor, the South Downs, Wales and the New Forest. We've also done pub walks in the City, had a skate in front the National Exhibition Museum at Christmas and even had an evening of karaoke! The more random and different, the better!

Going forward, we're keen to continue in the same mould as well as grow our network, but we're also interested in re-establishing links with other alumni groups around the country.
