Raleigh Mentoring Scheme

Raleigh is delighted to announce the creation of our new mentoring scheme exclusively for our alumni. Many conversations, completed surveys and anecdotal evidence have highlighted the desire of our volunteer managers to continue to offer support to young people from all walks of life once expedition is over.

We very much value the skills and knowledge which our volunteer managers bring to expedition life and we are thrilled that there will be a continued sharing of knowledge post expedition.

We would love to hear from our alumni who have skills which they are willing to share with others via email, telephone 1:1 meetings or even workshops in the U.K and overseas. Are you a lawyer who would be willing to read a young person's university application for a law degree or can you help a venturer prepare for that all important interview for their first job or to get on to a graduate training scheme? Perhaps you would like to continue working with young people and support them to continue to build their confidence and self belief.

Whatever you would like to do with your skills we can help match you with a young person who is looking for some extra support and would value the advice and guidance of someone who has shared the Raleigh experiencei. The programme is very flexible and at the outset you can decide how much of your time you would like to give.

Thank you to everyone who completed the alumni registration form and indicated that they would be interested in professional mentoring. We will be in touch shortly. For those who would like to register your interest please complete the form at http://www.raleighinternational.org/raleigh-alumni or contact Debra Hay on debra.hay@raleigh.org.uk or 020 7183 1280.
