Volunteer Training Weekend

With summer expeditions underway and final preparations being made for autumn, the Operations team are now focusing on 2009. The new calendar for next year's residentials is now available and, as ever, we will be relying on the support of Raleigh alumni to provide the best in quality training.

To best prepare our future Raleigh volunteer force, we will be conducting a volunteer training weekend at the East Grinstead site on the 3rd - 5th October 2008. This weekend, open to returning Venturers and Volunteer Managers alike, will provide an excellent opportunity to build on and improve existing skills, get back involved with Raleigh and above all have a fun weekend away, with a Saturday night social thrown in for good measure.

Volunteering with Raleigh is not only a great way to fulfil the 'Fourth Challenge' of making a difference on your return, it also offers a chance to meet like-minded people, gain invaluable volunteering experience and, of course, have a good time.
