China 98G

It has been 10 years since our adventure to China and we thought this was a perfect excuse to organise a reunion. This is an opportunity for us to catch up, perhaps with those we may have lost touch with over the years, reminisce and share photos and stories. So, we have booked a pub (yes, the whole thing is ours for the night!) and intend to decorate it with a few China memories. We would love it if you were able to join us. If you are unable to make it, we would still love to hear from you, so please let us know where you are and what you are up to (there may be a newsletter in it!). Also, we are working from old addresses and trying to get in touch with as many people as possible who were venturers or staff on the expedition, so if you are in touch with anyone else, please make sure the invitation reaches them and/or let us know any contact details you think might help us. For those of you who like such things, we also wanted to let you know that there is a ‘Facebook’ group for expedition 98G China, which was started by some of the Chinese venturers. (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=3241430111). They are also celebrating this 10 year anniversary and extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to travel over during the Olympics! We have also taken advantage of the mighty Facebook and set up the party as an event, which people can sign up to, invite each other from and generally keep an eye on proceedings.
