Aged 25 and over

Looking for a different daily grind?

Voluntary work abroad is no longer just for young people wanting time out. Perhaps you are taking a career break or sabbatical, considering new career opportunities, retired or the kids have flown the nest.

Whatever the reason, increasingly, more of us want to volunteer overseas, challenge ourselves in a new way and give something back. Joining Raleigh's volunteer manager team gives you the opportunity to do just that. Be warned, our expeditions are no holiday, but will give you the opportunity to experience a very different daily grind!

Volunteer Managers

For every expedition we require between 25 to 40 volunteer managers, aged from 25 to 75, with a variety of skills to lead community, environmental and adventure projects or provide operational support from our permanent fieldbases.

Working alongside the Country Director, Country Programme Manager and up to 120 young people, the volunteer manager team are responsible for ensuring that our volunteer projects are safe, successful, fun and of a high standard.

Volunteer managers make a huge difference to the lives of young people and the local communities, whilst undergoing a unique, rewarding journey of their own.
