Since our foundation in 1984, Raleigh International has recognised that partnerships with companies play a crucial role in the development of a global community that works together to build a sustainable future.
Why do companies partner with Raleigh International?
Raleigh International offers companies the opportunity to play an important role in sustainable international development. We believe in the power of working together to achieve change, and when an organisation shares our values, we do more than simply tick a box to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives.
Having an effective and visible CSR strategy is vital to a sustainable and successful business; however, the organisations we work with also recognise the wider impact of our programmes and how they can bring real business value.
We work directly with thousands of volunteers each year, uniting them to drive positive change all over the world. Young people are supported to develop skills, confidence and personal resilience that will benefit them long-term. We deliver grass roots interventions across 5 countries that transform lives for generations to come.
Through working with Raleigh, our partners gain an abundance of funding and company engagement opportunities which meet your CSR commitments.
Who do we work with?
How can you get involved?
There are a number of ways in which you can support our international interventions and our work with young people from all backgrounds.
We offer the opportunity to provide strategic support for Raleigh operations in a specific country or a global programme for a period of 1 to 3 years. Your support can focus on safe water and sanitation, sustainable use of natural resources and community resilience.
You can support our projects and volunteer activities which create a global programme. This offers the most extensive range of opportunities which will have a real impact on the ground, and on your business. Programme support can also be utilised to develop innovative approaches in the field.
We offer the opportunity to support specific projects through direct funding for interventions such as education facilities, water systems, or volunteer-led community action days.
Inspire tomorrow’s leaders
We give you the chance to inspire and upskill the next generation by supporting Raleigh’s bursary scheme, which enables disadvantaged young people from the UK and local youth from the countries where we work to join our programmes. Raleigh programmes help volunteers to develop skills they will bring back to the workplace.
We offer a wide range of ways for your employees to get involved with Raleigh. We can offer the opportunity to invest in, and motivate your employees through company-sponsored volunteering in developing communities with Raleigh, as well as employee fundraising, pro-bono consultancy, and employee mentoring.
We can increase the visibility of your company’s positon on global challenges by supporting campaigns such as Live Below the Line or Giving Tuesday in aid of Raleigh.
Corporate donations and support in kind
Your company can also support Raleigh through Charity of the Year initiatives such as payroll giving, event sponsorship, or project equipment donations.
