To further support Raleigh’s charitable mission we also offer shorter bespoke programmes which engage people in sustainable development projects. There is a worthwhile community or environmental project at the heart of every bespoke expedition. This helps to ensure that we continue to add the most value to beneficiary communities, to vulnerable environments, and to the volunteers themselves.
Bespoke programmes are typically between 1-4 week durations, and they are crafted by balancing the client requirements, and the aims of the project on the ground. As such, bespoke programmes are tailored to each client’s timeframe and they currently run in Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua, India and Tanzania..

Schools, Groups and Universities
As with all Raleigh programmes our projects with Schools, Groups and Universities have a sustainable development project at their heart. They are typically 2-4 week trips, which often involve the construction of infrastructure which increases community access to sanitation, water, or educational facilities. Raleigh teams live and work host communities and it is this direct exposure to global issues which facilitates future generations to become agents of change
Raleigh International expeditions have become integral parts of modules, coursework and personal development projects. We can also deliver poverty and cultural immersion field visits to give your group the chance to see and learn about international development projects in action.Find out more
