Summer 2013 placements are now full for volunteers but still open for team leaders. We are taking applications from volunteers and team leaders for placements departing in autumn 2013 so start applying now!
You will need to fill in an online application form and select Raleigh International as your chosen delivery agency.

The application will be screened within 10 working days of receiving it. If you are successful at the application stage you will be invited to an interactive selection day. Volunteers and team leaders will each have their own selection days. You will usually be given a choice of two selection days and you will need to attend one of these in order to be selected onto a placement. Once the selection days are full then applications will be closed.

What happens on a selection day?

This is an opportunity for you to find out more about Raleigh ICS, and for us to assess your skills, experience and attitude. You'll do some group exercises with other people interested in doing a Raleigh ICS placement and you'll have an individual interview. We'll be assessing, for example, your ability to work with others, flexibility, problem-solving and your commitment to the programme. Although this is a competitive process, you are not competing with the other candidates and it is important that you try to work with them as a team on the day.
